Whitsunday Islands and the good ship Broomstick

I just returned yesterday from a 3 day trip around the whitsunday islands and had the most amazing time! Had a brilliant group, good crew and nice weather so couldn't really have asked for much more. :-)
Broomstick, the 76 foot boat we were sailing on.
Sunset over the Whitsundays. Whitehaven beach on Whitsunday Island.
The route we took amongst the islands.

Hello there, had a three day trip just after the new year on 2007. The crew are very nice and the skipper nos his stuff, took us round some beautifull islands , and every one was able too do some snorkling ( even if you cant swim ). Food was great but it was abit warm down below deck at night, but lets face it this was once a racing boat.
Didnt reasarch this trip before we went but, so was not expecting to swim with beautifull coloured fish, do a bit of proper sailing, whatch beautifull sunsets, and the stars, and even the satellites which can be seen if you look for long enough, also see turtles in there natural habitate, and last of all discover the most beautifull beach i ever seen. ( oh yea and proposed to the misses on this beach which she tells me shell never forget. Untill next time anyway, He He).
Only bad thing about the trip was that on deck because this was a racing ship, theres no were you can lay comfortablie, so could really do with some sort of cushions, oh yea and pray for a bit of wind so your able to go sailing
